Entry rules are passport-specific
Check the destination and every transit country using the traveler’s nationality, passport, purpose and exact date. A route that works for one traveler may require different visas, transit permission, proof or validity for another.
One ticket is not the same as separate tickets
On one booking, baggage and missed-connection handling may be coordinated. With separate tickets, the traveler may need to enter the transit country, collect bags, change terminals or airports and check in again. Build a larger buffer and a recovery plan.
Name every border and vehicle change
Do not treat a multi-country road journey as one service until every leg is confirmed. Record the border, passenger eligibility, operating times, vehicle documents, insurance, luggage handover, payment and the next transport after crossing.
The international ticket rarely ends at the final destination
Arrange the trip from the arrival airport, port, border or coach terminal to the hotel, town, park, island or meeting point. Keep the destination address and pickup instructions offline.
